The Polish Green Building Association has announced a competition for the best "green building" in Poland. Construction and real estate companies are invited to participate. The main idea of the competition is to promote modern solutions for sustainable construction. This year's edition also includes buildings and interiors.
The purpose of the competition is to recognize the participants and their commitment to the development of sustainable construction in Poland, as well as to raise awareness of this development in the construction market in the country and around the world. The competition entries will be judged by a jury both in terms of qualities related to green building and sustainable development, as well as architectural and aesthetic qualities. Any innovative aspects of a given project or product will also be taken into account.
The competition is for a sustainable building, interior, building design, product or initiative in the categories listed:
Best completed certified green building.
Best completed green building without certification (or pre-certified).
Best green project (professional and student).
Best green multi-family residential development.
Best ecological expansion/modernization/renovation.
Best green public sector building.
Best sustainable interior.
Green Product of the Year.
Best green urban/municipal initiative.
Each participant in the competition may make several entries for one or more categories. Competition entries are accepted electronically until May 31, 2020. The judging is scheduled for October 8, 2020 at the 10th PLGBC Green Buildings Symposium in Warsaw.
