Ukiyo combines the best design, luxury and durability guaranteed by the Dekton brand. Created in collaboration with internationally recognized interior designer Claudia Afshar, the collection is available as ready-to-install fluted panels, one of the first of its kind in the industry. Its textures add distinctive depth and dimension to any space, whether residential or commercial.

The Dekton Ukiyo collection is inspired by contemporary Japanese design, celebrating the art of minimalism and the present moment. Ukiyo means "to live in the moment," and the Dekton collection is designed to awaken the senses and feelings of well-being by achieving tranquility in a space. It embodies a rich palette of sensations, presenting a geometric, smooth structure to help create harmonious interior and exterior designs.

"Playing with texture is timeless and just as important in all materials, not just fabrics," - Claudia Afshar said. "I have always been inspired by materials found in nature. I strive to make the spaces I design as comfortable, warm and authentic as possible. Ukiyo is calming yet simple. The colors and grooves are romantic on the one hand, but also contemporary and masculine, allowing the space to achieve balance."
Designed specifically for vertical cladding, Dekton Ukiyo is available in a matte finish and two fluting options: GV2 with grooves 25 mm apart, 5 mm wide and 3 mm deep; and GV3 with grooves 11 mm apart, 4 mm wide and deep. Both variants will be available in a size of 450 mm x 3000 mm. The designer chose five existing Dekton colors for the collection - Bromo, Crete, Nacre, Umber and Rem - to provide architects and clients with a comprehensive palette to work with on projects.
Dekton's quartz surfaces are carbon neutral throughout their life cycle and were chosen for the collection for their properties and high performance. Dekton Ukiyo is ideal for a virtually unlimited range of vertical applications, from facades and fireplaces to custom furniture and much more.

Dekton Ukiyo colors:
Bromo-offers a dark gray hue inspired by homogeneous metamorphic rocks such as slate. A subtle, faded graphic, carefully created texture and natural aesthetics define this evocative color, ideal for any environment.

Crete - is inspired by classic cement floors. The pattern is even, though it provides darker or lighter areas depending on the density of the pattern. The matte texture and gray hue match any type of material and make it suitable for a variety of applications.

Nacre - offers a sensation of movement that engages all the senses. Trowel marks enliven the color, a subtle play of light and shadow that accompanies every inch of this design. To the touch, the cladding delights with a silky finish as fingers glide across the various reliefs and diffuse gradients.
