Economy and ecology - modern Schöck Isokorb thermal insulation connectors

More and more attention is being paid to the ecological aspects of the implementation of construction projects. The European Union has been supporting the concept of sustainable construction for many years. This is dictated by increasingly stringent legal requirements, high energy costs, increased carbon dioxide emissions and the changing preferences of residents regarding environmental concerns. Schöck focuses on the economy and ecology of its products, fitting in with current canons and setting new trends. Green building is on the rise, reducing energy consumption, promoting the health and well-being of residents and encouraging sustainable building practices remain the most important reasons for putting up green buildings.

Green construction with Schöck

Green building does not have to be expensive or complex. Schöck thermal insulation connectors are easy to install and maintenance-free, while delivering extraordinary performance results: up to 90% reduction in heat loss at balconies and up to 50% at slab edges, canopies and roofs. What's more, Isokorb connectors prevent mold and mildew caused by condensation, while making the building more desirable to buyers and tenants, says Maciej Kowalczyk, an expert from Schöck.

Isokorb in the fight for the environment

Schöck's modern thermal insulation connectors are a solution to eliminate the formation of thermal bridges in sensitive areas, such as balconies, attics and balustrades. Thermal bridges are not just a problem of stains, mold and mildew. It's primarily an area that generates large thermal energy losses, i.e. unnecessary costs.

Schöck Isokorb connectors, which are load-bearing thermal insulation elements for separating protruding structural elements, make it possible to maintain insulation continuity. Schöck products are dedicated to all types of balconies in reinforced concrete-iron, reinforced concrete-wood, reinforced concrete-steel and steel-steel connections. Schöck Isokorb is installed in the vertical thermal insulation layer of the wall, so it is a natural continuation of it. The Isokorb fastener transfers the loads from the balcony slab to the building structure, and makes it possible to separate the warm and cold elements of the entire structure.

Isokorbis a material that is hassle-free to install and its use in construction significantly improves the thermal comfort of residents, minimizing the cost of heating the premises by reducing heat loss. Isokorb connector supports ecological construction by providing continuity of thermal insulation and reducing the thickness of the finished balcony slab, which does not need additional insulation. To meet the growing market demands for ecology and environmental concerns, Schöck is constantly developing and improving its product range. Products dedicated to thermal and acoustic insulation meet the strict requirements of modern construction and are used by investors in buildings located in Poland and abroad.
