The impact of the pandemic on the real estate market. Virtual conference of the Polish branch of the Urban Land Institute

The Polish branch of the Urban Land Institute, an internationalnon-profitorganization and research institute whose mission is to guide responsible urban planning and development that fosters the creation and strengthening of local communities, invites you to an online conference - five webinars scheduled between June 23 and July 7 this year.

The conference will bring together real estate leaders and professionals who are co-creating urban spaces around the world. Invited experts will give talks and participate in discussions on climate, capital, the city, people and the future. Participants in the event will include architects from renowned studios Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, MVRDV and SLA Copenhagen, innovators from reSITE, Global Resilient Cities Network, Blue Zones, Measurabl, Fifth Wall and Zalando, as well as representatives of investors: Echo Investment, Skanska, Hines and Immobel.

In these extraordinary times, we are all looking for new ways to operate. As ULI, we want to stay in touch with our supporters, so we decided to move our conference to the web, and focus on issues related to the impact of the pandemic on the real estate market. Together with foreign speakers we will organize a virtual event of the highest quality," says Dorota Wysokińska-Kuzdra, chairwoman of ULI Poland.

The conference program includes the following thematic discussions:

  • June 23 - The city of the future.
  • June 25 - How can we prepare for climate change?
  • June 30 - Sustainable development and investment.
  • July 2 - Well-being of future generations in the face of the coronavirus epidemic and climate change.
  • July 7 - Mass digitization - does it help or hurt?
