On October 14 and 15, 2025, Polish cities will become the site of an extraordinary meeting with one of the most outstanding contemporary architects. Gion Antoni Caminada, a Swiss artist whose designs are deeply rooted in the local landscape and culture, will come to Krakow and Warsaw as part of a series of events organized by Geberit Poland.

- Tuesday, October 14, 2025, Krakow - at 6pm, the Manggha Museum will host a lecture by Gion A. Caminada (with simultaneous translation into Polish).
- Wednesday, October 15, 2025, Warsaw - from 13:30 to 20:30 the conference "Gion A. Caminada and the Architecture of Place" will last at the High Culture space. The program includes a lecture by Caminada himself, presentations by architects from Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, and a conversation with the audience.

Caminada hails from the small alpine village of Vrin in Grisons, where he still lives and works today. His projects - ranging from a community slaughterhouse, to residential homes, to multi-purpose halls or hotels - are distinguished by their exceptional respect for place and tradition, while at the same time being innovative. The architect puts it simply: "Before there is form - there is place."
Geberit, by initiating this meeting, wishes to emphasize the importance of silence, reflection and responsibility in design - values that link the brand to Caminada's philosophy of creativity. This is the third edition of the "Star Architect" conference series, which aims to create a space for dialogue with architects, designers and architecture enthusiasts from Poland and Europe.

In October, Krakow and Warsaw will thus become places of special conversation about what architecture can be - not only effective, but also empathetic and deeply connected to place.
