Next Design Summit 2025: the first edition of the landmark conference is behind us

18 of November '25

On November 7, 2025, the Polish History Museum in Warsaw became the place to talk about the future of design. On that day, the Next Design Summit 2025 conference brought together more than 580 architects, designers and experts from various fields - from business and law to psychology, technology and art.

This is the first such a large, interdisciplinary forum in Poland, showing that creating interiors is much more than aesthetics - it's a way of thinking about space, people and the relationship between the design and business worlds. The day was filled with inspiring speeches, talks and discussions that set new directions for the entire industry.

AN ATMOSPHERE LIKE NO OTHER IN POLISH DESIGN

From the entrance, guests were greeted by a unique atmosphere - warm, friendly and full of positive energy. The organizers took care of every detail: from the smiling team at the reception desk, to the music and scenography, to the way guests were guided through the museum space. You could feel the excitement in the air and the joy of coming together - Next Design Summit became a place where you really wanted to be.

The audience reacted vividly to each speech - laughter, applause, emotional reactions and spontaneous conversations after the lectures showed that this event hit the real needs of the industry. Many participants stressed that they had not experienced such an inspiring, substantive, yet friendly atmosphere at any conference before.

In such an atmosphere, knowledge stays in the head for a long time. People didn't just listen - they really absorbed every word," said participants.

All speakers were personally selected by Katarzyna Kraszewska, initiator of the event, interior designer, entrepreneur and founder of DobryProjektant.pl platform.
She oversaw the content, consistency of topics and level of speeches, so that each panel brought real value and inspired action.

THIRTEEN STRONG VOICES ON THE FUTURE OF DESIGN

The conference was opened by Katarzyna Kraszewska, welcoming participants and introducing them to the idea of the Next Design Summit. The very first panel, devoted to building a designer's personal brand in collaboration with 21st century developers, set the tone for the entire event. Kraszewska spoke about how to design your brand to become a partner in the development process - not just a contractor.

In the speeches that followed, attendees were able to look at design from multiple perspectives. Joanna Jurga, an expert in neuroarchitecture, in her presentation "There are no healthy people - there are only undiagnosed ones" talked about human-friendly design. Wojciech Plona showed how not to "eat your own profit" and build a stably growing design studio. Dagmara Brzezinska from Allegro and InPost spoke about leadership based on empathy and relationships. On the other hand, Piotr Kalinowski (MIXD) took the participants to the world of "experience design," and Pawel Pilarczyk proved that "AI won't take your job if you learn how to make money from it."

There were also talks on law and psychology. Magdalena Miernik-Grzesiowska, a patent attorney, introduced the principles of intellectual property protection in design, and Jaroslaw Gibas, a sociologist, showed how communication can resolve conflicts with customers. The conference was closed by Zuzanna Skalska, an expert in trends and innovation, with her speech "The autumn of a departing era in design" - a reflective summary of the changes that await the industry. Her words were the perfect buckle of the whole day.

A NEW STANDARD FOR THE INDUSTRY

We want every participant to leave the Next Design Summit with knowledge that can be implemented the next day at work. Because the future of design depends on those who act, not on those who only talk about it," said Katarzyna Kraszewska.

The special day ended in an atmosphere of conversation, mutual support and genuine enthusiasm. After the conference, guests stayed in the museum spaces for a long time, exchanging experiences and contacts.

The Next Design Summit created a new standard for industry events - based on knowledge, emotions and a sense of community. The huge interest in the conference exceeded the expectations of the organizers - the event ran out of tickets, and the reservation list closed already a week before the start.
