A group of Polish architects, including. Magdalena Miśkiewicz (Miśkiewicz Design), Katarzyna Wietecha (Architekt Mo Home), Mariola Kowalska (Studio Rysik), Anna Maria Sokołowska (Anna Maria Sokołowska Architektura Wnętrz), Beata Mrówczyńska-Łozowska (Stacja Projekt), Jacek Tryc (TRYC), Piotr Łucyjan (Art "Up Interiors),Paulina Skwara (Avo Architects), Paweł Klyszcz and Krzysztof Borek (Zero 32 Architects), and Agata Pierożyńska (Studio Habitat), took part in an inspiring trip to Barcelona. The four-day trip with Kontakt-Simon was an opportunity to exchange experiences, learn more about the brand's philosophy and discover the pearls of Catalan architecture.
Kontakt-Simon is one of the most popular brands in the field of electrical fixtures and smart home systems. For years it has been actively developing cooperation with architects on the Polish market, treating them not only as customers, but above all as full-fledged partners and brand ambassadors.

Through their projects, the designers show how switches, sockets, floor boxes or smart home control solutions work in practice, enhancing the comfort of use and aesthetics of both private and commercial interiors. The Kontakt-Simon ambassador program is also an eagerly awaited annual meeting in unique locations in Poland and Spain, which foster the exchange of knowledge and experience. Such initiatives confirm that it is worth being part of the Kontakt-Simon community and together set new standards for interior design in Poland.

With a visit to Simon SWITCH
One of the highlights of the program was a visit to Simon's headquarters. The Simon SWITCH (Simon Worldwide Innovation Talent Community Hub) building, designed by the renowned b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos studio, impressed the representatives of the design offices not only with its architecture, but also with the atmosphere of the place, created for innovation and collaboration. With an area of more than 10,000 sq. m., it was possible to create space for more than 350 employees, and the interiors, developed in collaboration with Estudi Antoni Arola, Estudi Jordi Tamayo and Katty Schiebeck Studio, showed contemporary standards of work and integration.

Architectural inspiration of Barcelona
A September trip to sun-bathed Barcelona also provided an opportunity to explore the richness of its architectural heritage. A visit to the Fundació Mies van der Rohe reminded the architects of the power of modernism and its influence on contemporary design. A tour of the Sagrada Familia, a stroll through the Old Town or a visit to Park Güell allowed the visitors to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of a city that many say is Europe's most beautiful metropolis.

Energy for the future
The trip to Barcelona, which in addition to the ambassadors was attended by Marcin Oleszczuk, Director of Design Market at Kontakt-Simon, and Olga Kisiel-Konopka, founder of OKK! PR, showed how important it is for Kontakt-Simon to create a viable space for valuable conversations with architects. The four active days were an interesting architectural experience and an impulse to exchange reflections on the directions of contemporary design. The ambassadors' trip to Barcelona is further proof that Kontakt-Simon builds its strength on relationships, trust and a shared passion for design, values that are the foundation of true partnership in architecture.
