The coatings with which steel roofing is coated play an important role in protecting buildings from the adverse effects of weather, such as rain, snow, UV radiation and temperature changes. Sheet metal roofing is made of high-quality steel with an appropriate layer of zinc applied to the steel core, which protects the roofing from corrosion. To increase the durability of the sheet metal, additional protective and decorative coatings are used, which give the roofing not only better protection, but also color, texture and degree of gloss. When deciding on steel roofing, the investor must also decide on its finish. He can choose between two options - gloss and matte. Each of them has its advantages - the choice depends mainly on the investor's individual preferences and taste, but it is often influenced by technical parameters as well.

  • Appearance - roofs with a glossy finish look modern. Matte, on the other hand, is more subdued and gives buildings a minimalist feel.

  • Aesthetics and cleanliness - imperfections are more visible on high-gloss roofs, while it is easier to clean than a matte roof.

  • Durability - thanks to good maintenance and the use of a high-quality decorative-protective coating, we can enjoy both a matte and glossy finish roof for years.

High quality - always in fashion

The main function of coatings with which roofs are coated is not only aesthetics, but also durability and resistance to mechanical damage and chemical agents. That is why, when deciding to choose a roofing tile with a particular coating, it is worth knowing its technical parameters.

  • Rough matte polyester - basic matte decorative and protective coating with a thickness of 35 microns.

  • ULTRAMAT - an improved version of coarse matte. 35 microns of coating thickness provides effective protection against adverse weather conditions.

  • TOPMAT - a matte polyester surface with a thickness of 35 microns. It is characterized by 20% higher resistance to discoloration and corrosion than ordinary polyester coating.

  • PURMAX hybrid coating - a combination of 25-micron thick polyester and 15-micron thick polyurethane. Thanks to innovative ways of curing varnishes using UV radiation, it is characterized by high resistance to damage.

  • Polyurethane coatings PURLAK and PURMAT - a 50-micron layer that effectively protects the covering from the harmful effects of sunlight. They can be used in areas with a highly aggressive environment - the risk of corrosion is reduced. The manufacturer's warranty for this coating reaches up to 50 years.
