GROHE SPA as a celebration of "Health through Water" at Design Week in Milan

Warsaw, April 18, 2023 - Architects, designers and design fans from around the world are flocking to Design Week in Milan, one of the largest and most important events for creative minds. Leading designers, emerging talents, as well as global brands, showcase their designs there in exhibitions and events scattered throughout the city. In this vibrant atmosphere, GROHE, as the world's leading manufacturer of complete solutions for kitchens and bathrooms, will present its refreshed GROHE SPA subbrand.

All against the backdrop of the prestigious Pinacoteca di Brera museum. The subbrand's extensive portfolio includes high-end mixer collections, modular ceiling showers, unconventional ceramics and accessories that complement the design. In addition to showcasing products for luxurious wellbeing spaces, the brand will express the slogan "Health through water" with an artistic installation that will highlight the architecture of a prestigious location such as Milan's illustrious museum.

Water-inspired installation: a reflection of the slogan "Health through water"

Entering the courtyard of the Pinacoteca di Brera museum, visitors will see a multimedia art installation with water as its theme. Prepared by the brand's designers and LIXIL Global Design's brand identity team, the display reflects the spirit of the museum and blends in with the statue of Napoleon occupying center stage, created by one of the most important sculptors of his period, Antonio Canova. The unbroken sheet of water visually enlarges the space and creates a kind of illusion, representing purity and well-being. Four huge cubbies were placed in each corner of the courtyard, providing space to showcase the four product categories of the GROHE SPA sub-brand. They are all covered with mirrored coatings that enhance the installation's "infinity" feel.

Health and well-being in four guises

Each of the four impressive cubbies is dedicated to a different product category that makes up the GROHE SPA subbrand. The first features the GROHE Icon 3D collection: products made using 3D metal printing technology redefine what is possible in fixture design, while prioritizing sustainable design and extensive personalization options. In addition to learning about the exclusive solutions, visitors will be able to hear the sound of 3D printing, see the entire process on LED screens and feel the temperature change that will rise as the simulation begins. The second category consists of the GROHE Atrio and GROHE Allure Brilliant collections in the Private Collection edition. They allow consumers to choose from a carefully selected range of colors, materials, finishes and handle types. In addition, to enable consumers to enjoy sophisticated quartz materials with the highest quality finishes, the GROHE brand has partnered with Caesarstone, a global pioneer in the production of quartz composite conglomerates. Surfaces created by this manufacturer can be combined with GROHE's mixer collections. The installation in the second cubicle perfectly reflects this partnership - black and white quartz divides the space into two halves, demonstrating the different design combinations that can be achieved with the fixtures.

The GROHE color collection is the theme of the third category. With the fashionable colors of GROHE Allure collection products, it becomes extremely simple to create a personalized bathroom. The dedicated cubicle is dominated by the color Cool Sunrise, solutions are presented in golden light, and guests can hear the soothing sound of water and feel its humidity thanks to the increased temperature. The last category focuses on modular shower solutions. The GROHE brand has created a multi-sensory experience with mist, light and sound modules, as well as an LED screen showing nature-inspired images.

Architects, designers and visitors can personally experience the GROHE SPA multimedia installation on the grounds of the Pinacoteca di Brera museum, April 18-23, 2023.

April 18/19/23 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm CET

April 20 from 12:00 to 17:00 CET

April 21/22 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm CET.
