Sandy beiges, bright colors and natural materials characterize a spacious apartment for a couple, located in one of Krakow's districts. Surrounded by greenery and modern architecture, it is a perfect refuge in the urban jungle.
The owners had a clear vision of how to furnish their apartment and put it in the hands ofarchitectsfrom the NONO Group studio with full confidence.
This is our brightest interior design in the entire portfolio. The clients' fondness for white, its broken shades or beige, was quite a color challenge for us. We focus on interiors that are expressive, characterful and distinctive, in which we are most often accompanied by working with a stronger color. However, no less important for us is the personality of the client, which we want to expose with the solutions used, so we approached the color proposal with curiosity. Ultimately, we juxtaposed the light base with a lot of wood, and we allowed ourselves a more significant color in the bathroom, reaching for a nailed-down version of purple," says Karolina Szyszka - architect and founder of NONO GROUP.
Theclients' expectationsoscillated between classical inspirations and minimalism. The architects, with typical subtlety and grace, wove details that give character to the entire space, and at the same time are in accordance with the wishes of theInvestors.

Key to the character of the interiors here are textures - clay plaster in the bedroom, fabric-textured wallpaper, fretwork, fluted glass in the shower. The client's request for classic accents we tried to reliably implement, but adding a bit of a fresh look. Subtle stucco or curved wood furniture add a classic touch to the interiors. The key to the final character of the apartment - a coveted note of classics, without creating a palatial atmosphere - is the right proportion and moderation, the architect adds.
The65 meters include an entrance area, a living area - a living room with a kitchenette, an office, a bedroom anda bathroom.

Open living room
A comfortable corner sofa in a shade of gray invites you to stretch out in the living room. The coarse-weave fabric refers to the curtain one. Together they create an elegantspace for relaxation. Just behind the sofa,the conventional boundary between the kitchenand living roomareas is marked by a wooden table,assisted by upholstered chairs.

The kitchen island standing next door was finished with the same materialas the wallbetween thekitchen cabinets. A decorative accent is the semi-circular laths on the front,whichalso warm up the coolness of the stone countertop.
The kitchen cabinets were made intwo colors. This treatment made the kitchen light and more lounge-like. Another interesting solution is the fluted glass front of one of the cabinets, behindwhich acollection of porcelain andglasswareis hidden.

The kitchen is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also practical. Thelarge surface of the worktop allows you to preparemealswith ease. Adequate number of electrical outlets of the Kontakt-Simon brand, Simon 54, facilitates work withmixers,blendersand other such devices.

Bedroom under the arch
A characteristic element of the bedroom is a gentle archat the head of thebed. The wall was highlighted with clay plaster,which breaks the elegance and at the same time harmonizes with the wooden panel. It transitions gently into two nightstands, alluding to the wooden TV wall in the living room. The warm colors of the bedroom encourage evening rest, while the fleshy curtains create a cozy atmosphere. Simon 54 Premium contacts and switches mounted at the tables are not only extremely aesthetic and are a kind of additional decoration of the interior, butalso practical. You can freely connect the phone charger to them in the evening and leave them by the bed.

Bathroom in color
Unlike the other rooms, in thebathroom themain emphasis of the architects placed not only on texture, but also on color. Thecustom-madecabinet for the washbasin got a shade of distressed purple.Powdery tiles with a slightly concave surface look beautiful against it. Theattention isalsoattracted byan unusualshower"cabin". Made according to an individual design from fluted glass, it becomes an additional decoration of the bathroom, winking at its sister kitchen cabinet. Thehandles from the cabin, in the form ofrails, gota doublerole,also acting astowelhangers.A neat combination of three differenttexturesandpatternsoftiles and wood adds an extremely cozy character to the bathroom, creating a cozy bath lounge. The bathroom is fitted with sockets and switches from the Simon 82 series.
