Poland's first Crowne Plaza Hotel has been built in Warsaw

10 of January '21

In Warsaw's Wola district, near Daszyński Roundabout, the first Crowne Plaza hotel in Poland - The Warsaw HUB - has been built. Its interiors are as spectacular as its exterior. Eclectic, saturated and vibrant with the rhythm of the city. Many areas featured materials from Spanish brand Cosentino, a leader in the large-format tile industry. Ghelamco Poland is the general contractor and developer of the project.

The modern, multifunctional HUB in Warsaw's Wola district is a place you can't pass by indifferently. Two skyscrapers connected by a bridge hide conference centers, relaxation zones, hotels and office space. One of the hotels located in the center recently opened here: Crowne Plaza. The design of its interiors was entrusted to Warsaw-based Tremend studio, experienced in similar projects .

Vistula River inspirations

The leitmotif in Crowne Plaza's interiors is the Vistula River, its unique wildlife, the sun and sand of the Vistula beaches. Respect for nature in the realization manifests itself not only in references to nature, but also in the conscious choice of materials. Among others, Silestone quartz conglomerate, produced by Cosentino, was used in the common areas. The philosophy of this manufacturer is to develop towards a closed-loop economy, and its materials are characterized by exceptional hardness and wear resistance.

We decided to choose the Silestone material because, firstly, we are keen to cooperate with manufacturers who respect the environment, and secondly, the material perfectly fit into our concept related to the theme of the project. Its survivals resemble the shape of a river, which was at the center of our realization," explained Magdalena Federowicz-Boule, Tremend architect.

the rhythm of the city

The commonareas reflect the vibrant life of the city. They are saturated, full of color and eclectic. They are characterized by a wealth of finishing materials and exceptional attention to detail. The architects opted for beautifully finished bars - the large one by the lobby, finished in white Silestone Calacatta Classic conglomerate and "crowned" with an impressive copper-colored frame, the restaurant bars, and the Sky Bar on the top floor of the hotel. This luxurious space is complemented by a sparkling black bar finished in Silestone Negro Stellar material. The furniture is also worth noting - soft leather, tactile fabrics combined with the subtle draw of durable and sturdy tables. The black of the Silestone Eternal Noir quartz conglomerates used for the tabletops is a perfect combination with the warm brown of the seats and the shade of old gold, visible on the lamps and furniture details. The conference center, meanwhile, was kept in a lifestyle spirit. It brings to mind a modern command center, filled with new technologies.

This type of project, where Cosentino products become an important part of the composition and play a role in creating the character of the place, is a great honor for us. We are pleased that the quality and design of the Silestone material have been appreciated and used in so many spaces. We are sure that they will please the guests of the hotel for a long time," concluded Aneta Konowrocka, Marketing Manager Cosentino Poland.

modern interiors

The hotel's interiors use materials of the highest quality to reflect the metropolitan character of the place and meet the expectations of guests from all over the world. Designer lighting, plenty of natural greenery, carefully selected furniture - all of this creates a coherent, modern whole. Also noteworthy are the tables made by NAP from Cosentino materials.

We began our adventure with Cosentino with a beautiful realization of the interior design of the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the products and the company's communication and service. We will confidently use Silestone and Dekton countertops in our future projects," said Nikolai Wielowiejski, NAP's sales director.
