Podcast Foundations

We have started a new podcast series! Starting today, "Foundations" will appear periodically on the A&B portal. We encourage you to listen to a conversation with Maciej Czekański - a graduate of the Academy of Applied Sciences in Sopot and the Technical University of Lodz - about his experiences during his internship at the APA Wojciechowski office.

Maciej Czekański

A passionate architect with a master's degree from the Technical University of Lodz, who gained his first academic training at the Academy of Applied Sciences in Sopot. He comes from Łowicz - a city known for its milky traditions and legendary jam. Regardless of his location, he spends most of his time creating new architectural concepts. For him, architecture is not only a profession, but also a way of life - a passion that almost equals his love of homemade fruitcake.

Maciej Czekański began his adventure with architecture with family renovations, during which he would curiously look at drawings of interiors and try to transfer them to paper. This mundane activity ingrained in him the desire to continue this passion. Today, when designing buildings, he often returns with his thoughts to those times, recalling the faces of people eager to see their dream home. Architecture for him is a process and an object, an incalculable outline of the space that surrounds us all. He treats each project individually, composing each element to meet people's needs. Creating for people is not limited to specific styles or frameworks, it is a space where it can be said that "architecture creates life for people."
