The results of the vote for the People’s Choice Award in the “Concrete Architecture 2026” competition have been announced!

We have concluded the online voting for the People’s Choice Award—the best student project using concrete, submitted to the competition: “CONCRETE ARCHITECTURE – A PLAY OF VOLUMES – A HOUSE IN THE URBAN LANDSCAPE 2026.” A total of 29 projects that had advanced to the competition finals participated in our poll. Karolina Potok’s project received the highest number of votes (608) and thus took first place.

The competition was open to second-year students (4th semester) at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Technology. The task was to design a house using concrete that could be built in an urban landscape.

The jury, consisting of Prof. Tomasz Kozłowski, Zbigniew Pilch, Dr. Anna Mielnik, Prof. PK, Dr. Monika Gała-Walczowska, Dr. Marek Początko, Dr. Przemysław Bigaj, Dr. Wojciech Ciepłucha, Dr. Grzegorz Twardowski, Piotr Stalony-Dobrzański, and Marek Kaszyński, awarded three main prizes and honored the remaining finalists.

    Voting Results

    In July, Architektura & Biznes gave readers the chance to vote by announcing a contest for the People’s Choice Award. Internet users could vote for their favorite project until August 2, choosing from among the 29 entries that made it to the finals.

    Thewinning entrywas by Karolina Potok. The project received 608 votes. The author will receive a certificate from us and a one-year subscription to the monthly magazine “A&B.”

    Second place went to Patrycja Florczyk’s entry, which received 553 votes.
