Czech Republic, Olomouc, April 29, 2026. - Streetstore is a Czech retailer specializing in outdoor gear and an authorized distributor of Oakley eyewear. In order to differentiate itself from other similar stores and attract young, active, adventure-seeking customers, Streetstore decided to create a unique street fashion-style store built from containers in Olomouc. It used high-quality solutions offered by Tremco CPG, which comprehensively meet the challenges of modern modular construction.

The store was designed as a two-story building composed of several steel containers combined into a single structure. In order to transform the containers into a modern retail space that meets all modern construction requirements both inside and out, Streetstore turned to the experts at Tremco CPG to propose and provide solutions for joint sealing, window installation, resin flooring and various other interior applications.

Windows

  • Internal joints were sealed with Illbruck products: ME508 film and FM355 PU foam.
  • On the exterior, Tremco CPG experts recommended the use of illbruck brand TP602 impregnated tape.

Exterior terrace

On the upper level of the container structure is a terrace. To prevent possible leaks, illbruck brand ME220 EPDM membrane was applied to it.

External joints

All exterior joints were sealed with illbruck SP925 liquid membrane.

Interior applications

  • illbruck PU700 adhesive was used for the wooden stair treads, and illbruck SP350 adhesive was used to attach them to the steel structure.
  • All interior panels provided for in the project were fixed with illbruck TN140 double-sided adhesive tape.
  • All gypsum board joints were sealed with illbruck SP525 flexible sealant.

Flooring

To emphasize the store's modern interior design, the developer, Streetstore, chose a resin floor in two shades of gray, including smudged surfaces. Tremco CPG experts recommended the use of Flowcrete's Flowshield LXP poured-type flooring system, which is made from polyurethane resins, consisting of the following layers:

  • priming layer: Peran STC,
  • base layer: Flowshield LXP with a thickness of 3 mm,
  • closing layer: Flowseal PU Matt.

Streetstore's showroom is an example of a project that incorporates solutions from multiple brands in the Tremco CPG portfolio, demonstrating the company's ability to meet a variety of construction needs.
