360 ° - SARP Poznań has opened a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences.

27 of January '22

360 ° is a recently opened platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences created by the Poznan branch of the Association of Polish Architects under the auspices of the SARP General Board. On the created Youtube channel, individual branches of the Association will present their guests -Polish and foreign architects, who will present their philosophy of architecture and design experience during the lectures .

The 360 ° channel will also feature recordings of debates or walks. As the authors of the platform assure, regardless of the format, these will always be interesting meetings with architecture and its creators.

For a good start, we invite you to five lectures prepared by the Association of Polish Architects Poznań Branch as part of the Poznań-Brno direct link project carried out together with the Faculty of Architecture at Brno University of Technology.

HOUSE BETWEEN THE TREES

A lecture introducing the project of the New Strzeszyn housing estate in Poznań - the winner of the Jan Baptista Quadro Prize of the Mayor of Poznań for the best architectural realization of 2020 and NAWW in the HOUSE category (for 2019). The goal of this architectural project was to create buildings that combine the advantages of a house and an apartment. As the design team of Insomnia studio emphasizes, this idea has been with them in their work for a long time, in the projects the architects are looking for this synergy, the form between the apartment and the house.

Human scale correlated with actual human needs resulted in the design of rational, functional, compact and energy-efficient houses-apartments, the architects say.

The authors called their architectural project "House between the trees," because in fact the residential blocks here have been matched to the arrangement of trees found on the plot. Although this made construction difficult, the trees were considered an asset worth preserving - hence the subordination of architectural forms to them. The architecture of the buildings is simple, but detailed and rich in interesting details. Facades were differentiated with wood, original ceramics in four colors or grates for climbing plants. Despite the considerable intensity of the development, the whole has an intimate character. Thanks to appropriately placed windows, residents do not have too many opportunities to peep at their neighbors, and the gardens are also equipped with small storage areas and consistent fences that ensure intimacy.
