Are you proud of your project? Let it shine on the red carpet of architecture. Entries for the Brillux Design Award 2027 are being accepted starting May 4. The total prize money is 25,000 euros.

For many years, the Brillux Design Award has been a symbol of exceptional architecture. An independent jury of experts seeks out projects based on close collaboration between architects, contractors, and developers.

With the launch of this new edition, the competition enters its next phase. Projects can be submitted in five categories. In the “Public Buildings” and “Historic Buildings/Ornamental Facades” categories, the jury is seeking exceptional facade designs. Submissions are also accepted in the interior design categories: “Residential Interior Concepts” and “Commercial Interior Concepts.”

Over 600 projects were submitted in the previous edition of the Brillux Design Award. The call for entries for the 2027 edition runs through December 31, 2026.

In the spring of 2027 , an independent, international jury will convene to evaluate all submissions. In each category, three nominated projects will advance to the finals. Additionally, one project will be selected from all submissions to receive the award in the special category “Energy-Efficient Facade Systems.”

The total value of the prizes awarded as part of the Brillux Design Award competition is 25,000 euros. Nominees and winners also receive comprehensive support for their communications efforts—including exclusive PR publications, high-quality photographic materials, and a license to use the official competition logo.

Projects completed using Brillux products between January 2025 and December 2026 are eligible for submission. The awards ceremony will take place in November 2027 at the LWL Museum of Art and Culture in Münster.
