Ridge installation system - "dry" without compromise
The ridge tiles in the swissporTON ventilated ridge system are fixed using the "dry" method, using a patented system. This is a solution that brings tangible benefits for both the investor and the contractor. The system does not require the use of a ridge batten, additional sealing strips, brackets.
What does this mean in practice? Faster and simpler installation - no need to fit additional elements. The mounting wires are attached alternately to the last roof batten, at approximately 42 cm intervals, and the ridge tiles are slid over each other in sequence and fastened with stainless steel brackets. The initial and final ridge tiles are additionally secured with a clamping set with a seal.
The stainless steel clamps guarantee corrosion resistance for decades of use. The ventilated ridge connection tile is the perfect ceramic finial of the entire system. The spoiler built into the design of the ridge tiles further reduces the force of wind, increasing the ridge's resistance to extreme weather conditions.
