Webinar: cyber threats targeting Ukraine

Kaspersky researchers are continuously monitoring the activity of advanced cybercrime groups, fraudsters and hacktivists involved in the war in Ukraine. During the webinar (March 10, 2022, at: 16:00), members of the Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT) will share their findings and analysis related to the latest cyber attacks targeting Ukraine. Participation in the webinar is free.

During the webinar, which will take place on March 10, 2022 at 4:00 pm, Kaspersky researchers will cover the following topics:

  • types of cyber attacks targeting Ukraine over the past few months,
  • results of analysis of destructive cyber attacks and malware (including HermeticWiper),
  • ways to secure companies against such cyber attacks.

Kaspersky's GReAT team consists of forty researchers operating around the world, who are responsible for detecting and exposing some of the most dangerous threats of recent years, including cyber espionage campaigns, malware, ransomware tools and trends in the cybercrime underground.

The webinar will be hosted by:

  • Costin Raiu, global director of the GReAT team,
  • Marco Preuss, head of the European branch of the GReAT team,
  • Kurt Baumgartner, chief cybersecurity researcher from the U.S. branch of the GReAT team,
  • Dan Demeter, senior cyber security researcher from the European branch of the GReAT team.

Following the webinar, all presenters will be available for a Q&A session.
