WaterFolder Day is a unique event - not only because of the number of participants and the richness of the program, but above all because of the synergy between the worlds of science, business and design practice. This year's edition, held on June 24-25, 2025, demonstrated the importance of jointly seeking answers to today's water management challenges.

The event was inaugurated by the launch of the WaterFolder Connect platform - an environment that supports the designer's work from concept to completion. It is a solution that will not only streamline the design process, but also accelerate key calculations, selection of specific network elements, and simulation using various rainfall scenarios and generation of optimal solution options.
In parallel, workshops and lectures conducted by experts from technical universities and the private sector were held in five halls. We touched on topics related to road drainage, design of retention systems, urban water management and the role of green and blue infrastructure in improving the quality of life of residents.

The accompanying events were also of great importance - from the exhibitors' zone, where new products and solutions were presented, to studio field trips. Among other things, we visited the historic and modern facilities of MPWiK Wrocław, observing in practice the effects of well-designed sewage systems.
It was also valuable to look at the river as an integral part of urban planning - a cruise on the Oder River allowed a close look at the water quality of the city's river.

WaterFolder Day 2025 proved that effective design is not possible without knowledge, collaboration and modern tools. It is an event that inspires and at the same time gives concrete competencies for action.
