Who is an interior designer to you?

04 of November '19

The 2019 Interior of the Year Competition will soon be decided. The initiative is accompanied by an ongoing discussion about who an interior designer is, what ideas are important in his work and what constitutes the value of a given project. An opportunity to reflect on these questions was the past edition of Warsaw Home 2019.

Representatives of the Association of Interior Architects were present at Warsaw Home 2019. The minimalist stand kept in black was very popular with the industry and all those who appreciate architecture and design.

let's get to know each other!

Visitors had the opportunity to see an exhibition consisting of artistic installations created by individual members of the association - introducing their approach to design, their achievements, their outlook on architecture. Reflection and discussion were prompted by a theme with the question: Who is an interior designer to you? The design of the space was created by Mateusz Kuo Stolarski, and the organization and coordination was the responsibility of: Agnieszka Stefańska, Patrycja Suszek-Rączkowskaand Agnieszka Leszczyńska-Mieczkowska. Among the stand partners were: Antalis, AQINA, Milliken, OKK!, Kreon, Miele and LUTRON.

About the competition

The SAW Interior of the Year is an initiative aimed at rewarding the most outstanding and innovative projects that can serve as an example in the field of interior design. The competition is distinguished by its complete independence from manufacturers - unlike most similar initiatives, it does not assume product placement and does not require fees from participants. Its purpose is not only to identify the best projects, but also to support the industry in the broadest sense and integrate the interior design community.
