Aluron streamlines this process into a single “user-friendly” online tool. The configurator’s intuitive interface
Upon launching the application, the manufacturer is presented with an intuitive workspace featuring a 3D preview. On the screen, they see the structure, which they can customize step by step to meet the project’s specifications. First, they define the basic layout of the winter garden: they select the gutter type, roof shape, and main dimensions. Every change is immediately visible on the model, so the technician or sales representative doesn’t work solely with raw data but with a clear visualization of the structure. It’s easier to assess the proportions, the height of the passageway, the depth of the canopy, and the roof pitch.

In the following steps, the configurator allows you to refine the design in detail. The manufacturer can determine the rafter spacing, check the maximum post spacing, decide on crossbars, or equip the structure with LED lighting. A separate panel guides the user through aesthetic considerations: choosing the structure’s color, type of finish, or roof covering. The tool also takes into account data needed for preliminary structural calculations, such as location, elevation above sea level, snow load zone, and terrain category. As a result, the manufacturer gathers information during the configuration stage that would normally require additional back-and-forth communication and prolong the order fulfillment process.

How to use the configurator?
Access to the configurator is password-protected. The manufacturer can obtain the password from any Aluron regional sales manager. After completing work in the application, the manufacturer downloads the configuration file and then sends it to [email protected]. This ensures that the inquiry reaches Aluron in a structured format, complete with all the basic data needed for further analysis and to prepare a quote. The configurator is available on Aluron’s website.

The configurator was developed for the ACS Glass Garden system, an aluminum solution for creating non-thermally insulated, roofed structures—either freestanding or attached to a building. The system was designed with durability, stability, and weather resistance in mind. ACS Glass Garden can also be combined with the all-glass sliding walls of the ACS OptiGlass system and the non-thermally insulated sliding door system ACS 50 Cold Slide, giving the manufacturer greater freedom in designing functional patio enclosures.
