Miedzyzdroje has enriched itself with a unique place - the Aqua Resort, the heart of which is the just-opened aquapark. This is the largest investment of its kind in the region, including 5 slides with a total length of nearly 700 meters, recreational pools with whirlpools, a rushing river, paddling pools for children and a Jacuzzi zone. Subsequent stages will see the launch of Aqua Saunas, Aqua Sky Bar and an expanded conference and event zone with Wellness & SPA, among others.
Architecture created with people in mind
AKO Architekci office is responsible for the project.
We designed the facility in the form of a terraced block in order to bring it closer to the human scale and at the same time create intimate patios conducive to relaxation for Aquapark users
- emphasizes Roger Kostarczyk, chief architect of the facility.
The modern form harmoniously harmonizes with the seaside surroundings, and the pro-environmental solutions used - including a gray and rainwater recovery system and heat recovery installations - increase the value of the facility and make it part of the idea of sustainable development.

Acoustics - an advantage you can't see, but which you can feel
Aquaparks are usually associated with bustle and noise. At the Aqua Resort, it's different - thanks to Ecophon's advanced acoustic systems. The recreational spaces use Ecophon Solo free-hanging panels, modular ceilings and moisture-resistant wall panels, among others. These are what ensure that echo and reverberation do not dominate the relaxing atmosphere, and that the sounds of water or conversation do not tire guests.

Properly designed acoustics can change the perception of an entire place. At Aqua Resort, an effect has been achieved in which the aquapark becomes a relaxation zone rather than a noisy hall. It can be said that it is currently the facility with the best acoustics of its kind in Poland
- notes Adam Mazur, HoReCa acoustics expert, Saint-Gobain, Ecophon.
Acoustic simulations and measurements have shown a 97% match between assumptions and reality, confirming the effectiveness of Ecophon's solutions. As a result, guests can talk, relax and entertain freely in a space free from excessive noise.
Flexible solutions for business
The conference part of the resort was no less demanding. The 780-square-meter plenary room was designed with the ability to be divided by mobile walls. The optimal reverberation time (0.6-0.8 s) was maintained in each configuration - from the large space to several smaller rooms. A key role is played by the free-hanging Ecophon Solo Baffle panels, which effectively absorb sound and ensure speech clarity during events.

This gives meeting participants maximum comfort in receiving content, and organizers the confidence that any event - from conferences to banquets - will take place in a communication-friendly environment.

Aqua Resort is more than just a luxury facility - it is an impulse for the development of the region and proof that Western Pomerania can confidently compete with the biggest players on the MICE market
- says Piotr Puchała, president of Prestige Group, investor of the Aqua Resort complex.
Acoustics as an investment
The solutions used are not only of aesthetic and comfort importance, but also of business importance. Well-designed acoustics prolong guests' stay, increase their desire to return and increase the value of conference spaces. This is an advantage that cannot be easily copied - and makes Aqua Resort a unique place on the map of Polish resorts.
