If you appreciate the beauty of the Polish language and are not afraid of the word ARCHITECTS, the Kariatyda Collective invites you to its seventh editon! Another marathon of creating and editing Wikipedia entries. The theme will be women associated with architecture.
This Friday, April 8, we will be creating and completing Polish Wikipedia entries on female architects, urban planners and designers! It is not necessary to have special skills, all you need is your own computer and possibly an idea for an entry.
The Kariatyda Collective is an informal group of female information activists, which was formed from the bottom up in Wroclaw as an initiative of people involved in the arts. Their goal is to supplement the Polish Wikipedia with entries concerning primarily female artists and architects, but also curators, researchers, critics and other women associated with art, in order to reduce the gender gap existing in the Polish Wikipedia.
