How to decorate your interior during a pandemic?

06 of May '20

As of Monday, May 4, shopping centers have reopened. The Internet was circulated by a photo showing an almost endless queue in front of the entrance to IKEA in Cracow. But what if you don't feel like waiting or know you won't be comfortable among larger groups of people? It's not just museums - furniture stores have also moved their business online.

Due to trade restrictions imposed by the Polish government due to the coronavirus pandemic, Domoteka has launched a number of online activities. The website offers additional information on, among other things, the remote work of individual showrooms, as well as a blog covering interior design topics.

The assortment of furniture showrooms is no longer available to customers in traditional sales. Therefore, to meet the needs of both groups, Domoteka quickly adapted to the new conditions by providing an easy way to contact them online. In addition, customers get access to interior design tips, which will appear on a newly created blog.

The showroom has also put a special 3D tool at the disposal of customers, allowing them to "set up" the furniture, which is located in the interior design center, in their home or office. This kind of activity gives customers the opportunity to see how a particular product looks in their space, as well as how it blends in color with the entire arrangement. There are four categories of furniture to choose from: tables, sofas, armchairs, beds. This is an extremely functional solution, allowing you to take on the role of an interior designer. Importantly, you don't need any app to do this - just go to the site and select a piece of furniture. The tool is available on phones working on the basis of the following systems: Android, iOS.

In connection with the change in the way the interior design center operates, Domoteka provides a way for tenants to contact customers, informing them of the possibility of remote advice from consultants and experts from selected showrooms, who will help select the ideal furniture and furnishings.
