The first edition of the festival, held in 2025 at the Museum of the Interior in Otwock Wielki, attracted more than 5,000 people, earning rave reviews from audiences and the media. The event became one of the loudest festival debuts in the country, opening classical music to new audiences and redefining the way it is presented.

Break in Classic 2026 - new chapter, same idea

The second edition of the festival, whose Artistic Directors invariably remain Jakub Józef Orlinski and Aleksander Dębicz, will continue its mission to break patterns and combine tradition with modernity. Break in Classic remains a space where classical music meets fresh formats, contemporary aesthetics and unobvious artistic associations - surrounded by nature and the unique architecture of the historic complex at the Interior Museum in Otwock Wielki, a branch of the National Museum in Warsaw.

The program will feature concerts by outstanding soloists and ensembles from home and abroad, some performing in Poland for the first time.

The first announced artists of the 2026 edition are:

Lyyra - a New York-based vocal ensemble that is among the most intriguing young groups on the American music scene today. "A crystalline, bold sound that is at once rooted in tradition and surprisingly new ," according to The New York Times.

Manchester Collective & Fergus McCreadie Trio - Manchester Collective has been one of Europe's most visionary chamber ensembles for years. They are a group that expands the boundaries of classical music with exceptional consistency, bringing in the intensity of contemporary culture, performance art and new sounds. On the other side of this encounter stands the Fergus McCreadie Trio, one of the most fascinating ensembles on the British jazz scene. Pianist Fergus McCreadie - winner of among others. Scottish Album of the Year - is renowned for his unique style combining contemporary jazz, Scottish folk music and natural, organic improvisation.

The festival will also feature onstage releases by artistic directors. Jakub Józef Orlinski and Aleksander Debicz will perform twice in different scenes. More information about the program will be available soon.

In the following weeks, the organizers will gradually reveal the artistic lineup and detailed schedule of the event.

Tickets on sale

Ticket sales for the second edition of the Festival will begin on December 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets will be available exclusively on the eBilet.pl platform.

A festival that creates new audiences

Break in Classic is an initiative that attracts listeners of all ages and broadens the audience for classical music. The first edition showed that it is possible to build a festival with the highest level of performance, while opening it up to younger generations and newcomers to the arts.

The first edition of Break In Classic was a dream come true for us. Creating an event that had never been seen before in the world of classical music proved to be a major challenge, but also a source of great satisfaction. We were touched by the large audience that trusted our vision from the beginning. From the very start we thought about continuing, but it was our guests who gave us the energy and determination to go on.

So it was with great excitement that we set about preparing for the second edition of Break In Classic. As before, we have invited outstanding artists who not only interpret classical music brilliantly, but also know how to convey it in a way that is close to contemporary audiences. We know that this year the bar is set high - but we believe we can jump over it.

We are preparing quite a few surprises.

See you in Otwock Wielki between July 31 and August 2! .- say the Artistic Directors.
