The Warsaw branch of SARP invites you to the next meeting of the series "Architects of the Warsaw branch of SARP". This time the guests will be the founders of the architectural and urban planning studio SAWAWA: Dorota, Piotr and Marek Sawicki. The meeting will be held online.
"SAWAWA - Man - Neighborhood - City " - this will be the motto of the discussion with Dorota, Piotr and Marek Sawicki, architects and urban planners, founders of the SAWAWA studio. The studio was founded in 2015, but already has several important projects to its credit. The Sawickys gained some of their professional "spurs" by working with the doyen of Warsaw urban planning, the late prof. arch. Krzysztof Domaradzki, at the DAWOS office. They have participated in the design of many public spaces, such as Krakowskie Przedmieście and the grasslands of the National Stadium in Warsaw, as well as downtown streets and squares in other cities. The creators themselves write about their work this way:
People today expect space to be a friendly and comfortable place to live - living, working, shopping, entertaining. There is no good architecture without properly designed space, and good space is not created without the participation of an architect.
