Fluted interior doors are becoming an increasingly popular choice. Their intriguing aesthetics and the effect of texture on the surface of the door open up new and interesting design possibilities.
The power of detail
Interior designs that are memorable are often those in which every detail matters. One such element can be fluted interior doors. They are a clear alternative to the most common models: white doors with millwork and panels or completely plain. Fluted wings draw attention to the fact that the design of the door does not have to fade into the background - it can be a strong accent and close the entire arrangement.

Original form, precise workmanship
Corrugation is a technique of milling the surface, resulting in a characteristic symmetrical spatial pattern, visually resembling stripes. Depending on the width, depth and spacing of the grooves, the final effect can be subtle or more pronounced. The linear groove structure breaks the monotony and enlivens the arrangement in an orderly way. It adds lightness, dynamism and original expression to the interior. This is a detail that can "play" in many configurations - depending on the chosen finish and color.

Fluted doors from MORIC
The fluting pattern, which initially dominated furniture fronts and decorative accessories, is also increasingly boldly appearing on larger formats such as interior doors. The MORIC brand is developing this direction. In their offer, fluted doors are available in several designs. The patterns can be heavily scratched - as in the REFLO model, more subtle - as in NULD, or be a balanced solution - like DIAMANTE. The milling can have a vertical or horizontal arrangement, which allows you to match the direction of the lines to the development and composition of the space.

A freer interpretation of the grooving pattern is presented by SIGA doors - with simple, symmetrical grooves crossing the wooden surface of the leaf along its entire length. The visible lines are the result of using a board dyed in the mass, which was then overlaid with veneer. This treatment resulted in a deep shade and a modern spatial effect.

Glass, veneer or lacquer?
MORIC 's extensive range of door finishes really gives you a lot of options. A wide range of veneers and lacquers allows you to create unique combinations, and the latest door model - NULD - is also available in glass: transparent, satin or lacquered. Most of the models with a fluted surface come from the SCRIT collection of concealed doors, fitting in with the aesthetics of modern interiors. The DIAMANTE model is the most flexible - it is also available in the DESIGN collection, which means that it can be combined with any adjustable frame from the manufacturer's offer.
