Which food processor is worth buying in 2026? We put the 8 most popular models through practical tests. We compared them based on 6 test criteria and 2 additional factors that genuinely impact the convenience of everyday cooking.
Food processors are increasingly replacing several different kitchen appliances, so your choice shouldn’t be based solely on price or brand recognition. In our 2026 food processor ranking, we compared 8 models, taking into account not only technical specifications but also practical aspects of everyday use.
In our tests, we evaluated 6 parameters that are important for meal preparation: the time it takes to bring 0.5 L of water to a boil, the temperature range, the number of recipes available directly on the appliance, operating noise level, the availability of a cookbook, display size, as well as two additional factors: weighing accuracy and warranty coverage.
How were the food processors selected for testing?
Eight popular food processors from 2026 were selected for the ranking. We considered both devices from well-known brands and models that stand out for their technical specifications and practical convenience in everyday cooking.
Food processors included in the publication: Cecotec Mambo Touch, COBBO 7 Smart-i, Kohersen CY021, Monsieur Cuisine, MPM MRK-48, MPM TRM-01, Thermomix TM6, Zelmer MaxCook.
Parameters Tested in the 2026 Food Processor Ranking
This section describes the criteria used to compare food processors. The selected parameters relate to the most important aspects of the appliance’s everyday use, such as ease of use, functionality, precision, and practical usefulness during food preparation. Analyzing these parameters allows us not only to compare models in terms of technical specifications but also to assess the actual ease of use of the food processor in the kitchen.
Time to boil 0.5 L of water
This shows how quickly the food processor prepares meals. The shorter the boiling time, the greater the convenience in everyday use and the faster the results.
Temperature range
This indicates how versatile the appliance is. The wider the temperature range, the greater the possibilities for cooking, reheating, simmering, frying, or preparing delicate dishes that require precise heat control.
Number of recipes on the robot
Indicates how many recipes are available directly on the appliance, without the need for an app or additional subscriptions. This is important for convenience, the appliance’s ability to operate independently, and easy step-by-step cooking.
Noise Level
Indicates how quiet the appliance is during operation. A quieter food processor is less disruptive during everyday cooking, especially in an open kitchen or during longer programs.
Cookbook readiness
Refers to the time from selecting the cookbook function until the list of recipes is displayed and ready to use. A shorter time means faster access to recipes stored on the appliance.
Display Size
This affects readability and ease of use. A larger screen makes it easier to follow recipes, adjust settings, view step-by-step instructions, and use the robot’s functions while cooking.
2026 Food Processor Comparison – Additional Data
The 2026 food processor comparison takes into account not only technical specifications but also additional data that affects the device’s usability. These include: ingredient weighing accuracy and warranty coverage.
Weighing Accuracy
This affects the precision of food preparation. Accurate weighing helps maintain the correct proportions of ingredients, which is especially important for baked goods, all kinds of cakes, sauces, and dishes requiring precise measurements.
Warranty
This is the period of coverage provided by the manufacturer during which the user can receive repairs or support under the terms specified in the warranty. The comparison includes only the manufacturer’s warranty and the option to officially extend it.

2026 Food Processor Ranking – Methodology
The above comparison is thematic in nature and does not constitute a general ranking of all food processor features. It compares 8 selected models across 6 technical parameters and 2 additional criteria, without assigning a final overall score. The selection of products was editorial in nature and included appliances from the same functional category, designed to prepare meals using cooking functions and guide the user through recipes. Measurements were taken under standardized conditions in July 2026. All appliances were new and running the latest software available at the time of testing.
The number of recipes was determined based on information provided by the manufacturers and verified in the appliances on the day of the test. Access to the full recipe database in selected models may require an app, an internet connection, or a paid subscription.
The noise level of the appliances was measured using a Benetech GM1357 (GM23) sound level meter. Noise measurements were taken from the same distance from each appliance, in the same room, and in the same operating mode—that is, at maximum speed. Cookbook readiness and water boiling time were measured using a stopwatch.
In the results table, the best result for a specific parameter is highlighted in orange. The exceptions are the warranty and weighing accuracy, which are provided for informational purposes only, as most devices achieved a result of ±1 g. To ensure data transparency, weighing accuracy results are marked in green, while ±5 g results are marked in red.
In the list, devices are arranged in alphabetical order for clarity and readability. The data provided comes from our own measurements, user manuals, manufacturer specifications, and publicly available product information.
2026 Food Processor Ranking – Summary
The 2026 Food Processor Ranking shows that when choosing the right appliance, it’s worth basing your decision not only on price or brand popularity, but above all on practical parameters for everyday use. The food processor test compared 8 models in terms of the time it takes to bring 0.5 L of water to a boil, temperature range, number of recipes, weighing accuracy, noise level, cookbook availability, display size, and warranty. The comparison makes it easy to see how specific models perform in each category.
