Apartment in the rhythm of nature and art designed by Aldona Banasiuk-Suchorzewska

12 of November '25

A space designed for an investor who combines artistic sensibility with an analytical mind was created in one of Warsaw's apartment buildings, right next to the green grounds of the Royal Baths Park. Finance-related by day, privately - a lover of art, music and active recreation, she entrusted the request for interior design to Aldona Banasiuk-Suchorzewska. This is how an apartment was created in response to the need for harmony between nature and the city.

Location was absolutely key in this case. The possibility of daily walks with the dog amidst the greenery was one of the main conditions when choosing the apartment. It was the proximity to nature that set the tone for the entire project - subdued, elegant, but also full of warmth and personal references.

The interior design was based on the investor's clear preferences. One of her first wishes was a velour sofa in bottle green - a piece of furniture that determined the palette of the entire apartment. Greens, broken beiges, warm woods and golden accents fill the space, building an atmosphere of modern elegance with soul. The heart of the living room is the author's wallpaper, an artistic print by Justyna Stoszek, referring to the symbolism of strength, freedom and harmony. It is not only a decorative element, but also an expression of the owner's personality, self-conscious but deeply rooted in nature.

Attention is also drawn to architectural details: the built-in wall with a bookcase, wooden laths in various zones of the apartment, and thoughtful functional solutions. The kitchen, open to the living room, is a combination of light lacquered fronts in the shade of coffee with milk, a distinctive stone countertop and subtle contrasts - for example, in the form of black handles and structural tiles above the countertop.

Particularly noteworthy are the interior doors of the Polish brand Moric, which were carefully selected to match the character of the interior. Their subtle form and the highest quality of workmanship fit perfectly into the aesthetics of the apartment, and the elegant finish creates a coherent whole with the rest of the development, emphasizing the modern character of the arrangement.

The bedroom is dominated by a friendly, subdued color scheme; beiges, whites and dark graphite present in the textiles. Rhythmic laths and soft upholstered finishes add softness and intimacy to the interior. The space is optically enlarged by a large mirror, which reflects natural light.

The bathroom maintains stylistic consistency. Three-dimensional herringbone tiles, a round illuminated mirror and a stone countertop give it an elegant but homely feel. The built-ins hide the washing machine and cabinets. All this is done to keep the form clean and functional.

The whole project is a combination of aesthetics and practicality. A space in which each element co-creates a consistent, personal atmosphere. An interior designed not just for living, but for a life full of passion, balance and closeness to nature.
