Case study: EQUITONE ventilated facades at the City Stadium in Szczecin - durability, design and resistance to intensive use

28 of January '26

The Municipal Stadium in Szczecin received a facade in the ventilated facade system made of EQUITONE [tectiva] fiber-cement panels, which emphasized the dynamic architecture of the building and ensured its long-term durability.

The realization had to meet extremely demanding conditions. The investor expected materials resistant to vandalism, dirt and intensive use, so crucial in a public facility with high attendance. EQUITONE [tectiva] panels met these requirements thanks to their resistance to impact, moisture, frost and chemicals, making them one of the most durable facade solutions for this type of project.

In addition, the EQUITONE [pictura] collection panels used in the project are equipped with a factory anti-graffiti coating, which allows for quick removal of unwanted inscriptions and minimizes facade maintenance costs.

The mineral, raw aesthetics of the fiber-cement gave the stadium a monolithic, modern feel, while maintaining the properties of a ventilated facade system, such as moisture wicking and thermal stabilization.

EQUITONE provides architects with facade materials with high technical and aesthetic performance, used in public, commercial and infrastructure projects around the world.
