"10 Questions to..." is a series of short interviews with architects and female architects, to whom we address the same pool of questions. In today's installment of the mini-interview, Maciej Siuda answers our questions.

Maciej Siuda - a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at Wrocław University of Technology, his thesis XYZ STRUCTURE was presented, among others, at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. He gained professional experience in offices in Spain (Grupo Aranea) and Japan (Sou Fujimoto Architects), among others. Since 2012, he has run his studio in Warsaw, and also works as a lecturer at the School of Form.

a. Ecosystem.

2: The three most important buildings for you...?

a. Release building.
b. Opening building.
c. A building that surprises.

3. the most important book about architecture...?

"Locus Solus", "Ulysses", "We should all be feminists".

4. most inspiring city and why...?

Tokyo, a non-city.

5. architect with whom you would like to design something and why...?

Non-architect.

6. hand-drawing or computer drawing?

For catching intuition - hand-drawing.
To catch synthesis - computer drawing.

7. mockup or 3D model?

Mock-up, not necessarily 3D.

8. modernism or postmodernism?

Intuitionism.

9. After-hours work or sports?

Something that opens up to the new.

10. architecture or business?

Architecture.
