Lighting with taste. Asteria line straight from Denmark

23 of October '21

Elegance a little like from a club for English gentlemen or an old library. Modern technical solutions, durability and comfortable use. This is Asteria, an unusual lamp from Umage. The Asteria family of lamps was designed for the Danish brand by Søren Ravn Christensen. It includes a pendant lamp (in classic and mini versions), a standing lamp, a plafond, a table version including a cordless one. All models come with a 10-year warranty! However, it's not the only one that makes Asteria a dream light for almost any home arrangement and for most investments.

modern retro

Asteria's distinctive feature is the lampshade: flat, metal, containing an integrated LED panel (dimmable) and an acrylic glass diffuser for pleasantly diffused light. The lampshades are produced in many attractive and unique colors, including beautiful anthracite, bottle green, deep red, saffron yellow, pearl white. A sophisticated element in gold, silver or black masks the connection of the lampshade to the wire or base (depending on the model); in the case of a plafond, it "connects" the lamp to the ceiling.

Elegant simplicity, non-obvious minimalism and retro charm of this design, combined with practical qualities that are planted on modern technical solutions, are the characteristic features of the Asteria line. The Asteria Move wireless model is a portable lamp that has a 3-stage light output adjustment. Thanks to the Unifer inductive charger, depending on the selected light intensity level, it can be used for up to 35 hours on a single charge.

solo and as a set

This is a type of lighting that will work almost anywhere: both in a small apartment and in a large house; and in a cafe and in an office. It will be a great accessory for a hotel, but also for an elegant boutique, a conference room, a club. Asters (not necessarily in the same color) can be combined into sets, such as a ceiling lamp plus a table lamp, or a floor model and a plafond. They will also look great individually, in rooms arranged in very different styles, from Scandinavian to glamour.

It is worth considering the use of this pattern in interiors in the currently very fashionable New York style. Also any retro styling will gain class with this wonderful lighting. In smaller rooms it is worth using Asteria mini (lampshade diameter 18.5 cm); it will also be perfect, for example, in lobbies or other passageways, provided that you decide on several such lamps. Asteria is a modern version of the classics, which no interior designer will pass by indifferently.

Lamps from the Asteria line are offered by Pufa Design, the exclusive distributor of the Umage brand in Poland.
