Sika has finalized the acquisition of MBCC Group after receiving all necessary regulatory approvals. Headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, MBCC Group, formerly a subsidiary of Lone Star Funds, is active in structural and admixture systems. Together we will deliver better, world-class performance to our customers and develop more innovative and sustainable solutions."

Following the successful closing of the merger, Sika's portfolio of sustainable products will be further enhanced with the addition of innovative MBCC technologies. As a result, it will offer a broad and comprehensive range of solutions for sustainable transformation of the construction industry, helping customers reduce their carbon footprint.

Customers will benefit from an improved and more efficient distribution network in all areas of the construction market. Sika expects to generate annual synergies in the range of CHF 160 to 180 million by 2026. The combined Group is expected to achieve sales in excess of CHF 12 billion in 2023.
