A building facade or roof can look good and convert solar energy into electricity at the same time. Such possibilities are provided by the Swisspearl Sunskin Solar System, which combines the functions of facade and roof panels with the effect provided by photovoltaic panels. Thanks to it, you don't need to install photovoltaic panels as additional elements on the facade or roof and spoil their harmony and aesthetics. You can have both.
Swisspearl Polska CEO Waldemar Kantczak stresses that this solution allows you to change the way you think about building facades and roofs. The common feature of the Sunskin solution for facades and roofs is that in either case the energy-generating roofing or facade can be a different color than the one first associated with photovoltaics.
The question of whether photovoltaic panels can be invisible and whether they can be a different color than black is no longer a meaningless question. We can answer them in the affirmative," says Waldemar Kantczak.
Color that works
The manufacturing technology of the Sunskin system's solar modules is based on the fact that the color is applied to the inside of the glass using screen printing, and then fused to the glass through a curing process. This enables accurate and durable color saturation while maintaining high light absorption.
Yes, by integrating photovoltaics directly into the facade or roof, we achieve an aesthetic and functional solution that is almost invisible to the eye," adds CEO Kantczak.
Of course, and in the case of facades and roofs, a classic solution in black is possible. The difference between the standard solution and the Sunskin system is basic. The panels are not an additional protruding element, but are integrated with the rest of the elements and can be matched with other materials. The result? Swisspearl's energy-generating facades and roofs do not resemble classic PV panels, yet they work just as efficiently.

Sunskin Facade Lap - a facade with a future
The Sunskin Facade Lap system is a ventilated facade integrated with photovoltaic modules that combines energy efficiency with durability and aesthetics. The modules can be freely combined with other Swisspearl panels to match the project - regardless of architectural style.
A rich palette of colors, textures and formats makes it possible to create both minimalist and expressive facades. The designer gains full control over the form - without sacrificing energy efficiency.
Sunskin Roof Lap - a roof that does not betray its function
The modules of this system can successfully replace conventional roof surfaces, just like Swisspearl roof panels or tiles. They reliably protect buildings from rain, snow, low temperatures. This solution will also find application where conservation restrictions apply, such as in historic city centers. Thanks to the invisible connection to the slope and the ability to choose the color , it does not affect the architectural and landscape qualities of the building.
You simply can't see them. They give a double effect, and do not spoil the aesthetics of the surroundings," points out Waldemar Kantczak.
Clean technology
Paints free of cadmium and heavy metals are used in the production of Sunskin modules. The modules are non-toxic, safe for both operation and disposal, which is in line with the tenets of sustainable design and circular economy.
