Colorful office from Nice Young People

27 of April '20

There is a lot of talk today about offices and office spaces. However, let's put aside considerations about the future of teamwork for a moment. Mili Młodzi Ludzie - an interior design studio has proposed a colorful arrangement for one of the companies located in a Poznan office building. Among pastel colors, every employee will be motivated to action!

PIXEL_5 is no ordinary skyscraper. It was created by JEMS Architects surrounded by greenery. There are grasses, shrubs and trees all around. The designers ensured that its users benefit from this neighborhood , which is unusual for an office building - employees have access to wooden terraces.

This is what inspired {tag:Studio} to design EWE's interior. The main idea was to translate the language of nature into the language of architecture. Moving the outside to the inside of the office spaces. Thanks to this, the vision of a row of desks laden with computers and documents is no longer synonymous with today's working conditions. The architects know that an efficient and effective employee is a satisfied employee, so they decided to provide a pleasant environment and a colorful relaxation zone.

Privacy in open space

The 400-square-meter open space had to be designed to provide everyone with a sense of privacy and focus. Thus, the designers proposed dividing the room into five smaller zones. Each is separated by 2.2-meter high cabinets and clumps of rooms for individual work. There was also space for meetings in larger groups. It was kept in tones of navy blue and magenta, interspersed with gray. The architects decided to provide employees with additional comfort by varying the textures of different surfaces. Touching them brings a relaxing effect. The focus of individual employees is also provided by the upholstered backs of the cabinets and the panels separating the desks.

In an office like a forest

They made their idea of transferring the language of nature into the language of architecture visible in the central part of the office. It is a travesty of the forest - the floors were inspired by theforest underg rowth, and the contour line of the main part is a map of the area around Miedzyrzecz - a place important to the EWE company. The sheathing is made up of free-standing furniture, including colorful poufs that can be stored on steel racks. Tree trunks occurring here and there are meant to enhance the impression of being among the greenery. Above them figure their crowns - irregularly spaced green acoustic panels.

At the edge of the forest clearing there is a hut-kitchen, where a weary wanderer can eat. The office kitchen has been separated from the rest of the area, so the conversations held here and the laughter over a shared meal will not disturb the workers remaining on the trail. One can easily peek in here through the wood-paneled window. The architects wanted the office to contain truly natural materials, such as the solid wood countertop in the kitchen. The friendly atmosphere is complemented by warm lamplight.
