Acoustics and design in an RV showroom

26 of July '23

Good acoustic conditions in automotive dealerships are crucial - especially if you decide to buy an RV, for example. A popular home on four wheels is an expensive investment that requires careful consideration and focus before purchase. Silence, or lack thereof, can therefore significantly affect such a decision, which is why more and more dealerships are opting for professional soundproofing to ensure the comfort of buyers. Such an example includes the recently opened Caravan Enthusiasts Center near Warsaw.

Providing an environment conducive to focus and careful consideration is important when it comes to spending large sums of money. At that time, the buyer usually weighs all the "pros and cons," so the conditions for focusing on the information and advice provided by salespeople, rather than on noise and distracting sounds, have a significant impact on the purchase.

The owners of family-owned 2N-Everpol Ltd. are well aware of this, operating as a distributor of brands of consumer electronics, small household products, power tools, garden accessories and furniture, and electric vehicles. The company's second very important activity is caravanning services, carried out at Poland's largest "Caravanning Enthusiasts' Center," which opened in early May 2022 at the company's newly built headquarters in Baniosza, located near Warsaw.

The largest caravanning center where you can feel like you're on vacation

The company's modern headquarters, with a total area of about 7,000 sq m, includes a showroom for caravanning vehicles, an accessories store, office space with conference rooms, as well as a warehouse and service facilities. When designing the center, care was taken to ensure professional soundproofing. Excellent acoustics help maintain privacy and comfort for customers.

In the center, located near Warsaw, the grandiose space was soundproofed using more than 200 pieces of Ecophon Solo Rectangle free-hanging panels and 360 pieces of Ecophon Solo Baffle vertical free-hanging panels. In such a large space, providing workers with the right acoustics was a major challenge. Fortunately, the designers at Starun Wanik Architects handled it with ease. Both the sound effect and the visual effect are quite impressive. The investment is also fulfilling its purpose, as can be seen from the satisfied faces of customers, who can feel as if they are already on vacation here.
