Powisle Power Plant - Food Hall project vsf-creative

04 of June '20

The Food Hall at Elektrownia Powiśle, a new shopping center built in a former power plant building in Warsaw, has a wide range of gastronomic offerings to offer. The opening took place on May 20, so you can now not only enjoy cuisine from all over the world (the Food Hall features as many as 17 culinary concepts!), but also admire the specially designed space.

Architects from {tag:pracownie} were responsible not only for fine-tuning the commercial plan, furniture and interior design, but also for the functionality, look and style of the Food Hall. The main inspiration here was the rich architecture and history of the power plant itself. The designers decided to use raw materials characteristic of the post-industrial style - steel, aged wood, zinc, ceramics. These served as a backdrop for artifacts salvaged from the original buildings and for new elements. The architects were keen to capture the spirit of the place. This was also helped by an appropriate light setting, tailored to complement the mood of the interiors.

The Food Hall will feature 17 culinary concepts serving cuisine from many corners of the world, 3 bars and 12 restaurants with full waiter service.
