The future is now! - results of the competition of the International Biennale of Interior Architecture

We know the results of the competition The future is now! held as part of the VI International Biennale of Interior Architecture inAW 2020. The Grand Prix and an index of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow were awarded to Joanna Jaros. Congratulations!

This year's sixth edition of the Biennale, under the motto "in (the) FUTURE_perspective of the art of space_inAW 2020" , is devoted to thinking about the future of design in the context of changing human relations and the relationship of man with his environment. An important element of the event was the student design competition under the slogan: "The Future is Now! future living / future experience / future humanity", the results of which were announced on March 11 this year during the vernissage in the Malopolska Garden of Art.

The competition jury, composed of Prof. Stanisław Tabisz - rector of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Jan Matejko in Krakow, Małgorzata Tomczak - editor-in-chief of A&B magazine, Agnieszka Łakoma - visual artist of the City of Krakow, Dr. Małgorzata Jantos - chairwoman of the Commission for Culture and the Protection of Monuments, Biljana Branković from the University of Arts in Belgrade and Nicolò Ceccarelli from Università degli Studi di Sassari, awarded as many as six prizes.

The work entitled. "Krakow Oxygen Salon" received the Grand Prix.

The Grand Prix and an index of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, funded by the rector of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, was awarded to Joanna Jaros for the project entitled. "Cracow Oxygen Salon." Samuel Kostecki 's project titled. "SolVAWT" received an award sponsored by the Dean of the Faculty of Interior Design of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and an award sponsored by the Visual Artist of the City of Cracow.

The jury also awarded four honorable mentions. Aleksandra B asa was awarded by our editorial board for her project titled. "Plastic Madness", Karolina Jurczak and her "Enclave of Identity" received an honorable mention. The project team consisting of: Oliwia Styrylska and Weronika Fortecka were recognized by Biljana Brankovic for their work "Finity," andMonika Mosiolek 's "Water Algue House" project received an award from Nicola Ceccarelli.
