Aluron is expanding its range of solutions dedicated to renovation projects in export markets with the introduction of the ACS W renovation pin system. The new solution is designed for investments where it is crucial to limit interference with existing buildings and to be able to preserve the original aesthetics of the facade. It is ideally suited for use in old tenements, historic buildings and buildings under conservation protection.

Renovation without dismantling existing doorframes
As a renovation solution, ACS W allows new windows to be set on existing frames (usually wooden) without dismantling them. Such an installation scenario reduces the risk of damage to historical details and allows work to be carried out faster and in a more predictable organizational manner, which is important especially in projects carried out in stages or in inhabited buildings. An important element of the system is the frames with the so-called masking profile. On the inside, it creates an aesthetic "band" covering the old frame, while on the outside it allows the use of casing profiles that reduce the scope of "dirty" finishing work.

Design and installation: compatibility and execution flexibility
Repeatability and compatibility are important in export practice. For this reason, ACS W provides solutions to facilitate preparation and installation in different markets. The system offers the availability of frames in a wide range of widths, making it possible to match the geometry to the condition of existing frames and renovation requirements. A major improvement is a single component for clipping in all renovation profiles, which simplifies logistics on production and reduces the number of components on site.
Also of importance from the contractors' point of view is the ability to cut profiles both straight and at a 45° angle, making it easier to accommodate connection details and site conditions. The pins are compatible with the AS 75, AS 52, AS 80US and AS 110 systems, so ACS W can be implemented as a "bridging" solution in facilities that already produce based on these system lines. Installation and removal from the face of the window facilitates servicing and reduces labor time.
The system also includes a universal approach to the use of window sills. A common section for all thermally insulated sills is available. Compatibility with individual systems is ensured by changing the dimension of thermal breaks. There is also a version of the sill without thermal insulation common to all systems. As a result, ACS W supports fast, minimally invasive installation and real protection of the facade, without extensive wet interventions and without the need to reconstruct the details after removal.

Aesthetics in line with the style of the project
In terms of aesthetics, the solution gives you the freedom to choose the color scheme: from RAL, to woodgrain decors, to various structural solutions and anodizing. In terms of durability of finishes, Aluron powder-coated coatings are resistant to changing temperatures, UV radiation and mechanical damage. It is possible to make coatings in QUALICOAT quality and optionally also QUALICOAT SEASIDE for increased corrosion protection.

At the same time, Aluron is working to further expand the system's capabilities. ACS W is to be expanded to include the option of combining with the ASH 80 HYBRID hybrid window system, developed as a combination of aluminum sections with a plastic core that guarantees very high thermal insulation.
