Grupę projektową Centrala jako platformę wspólnych poszukiwań architektów, designerów i artystów założyli w 2001 roku Krzysztof Banaszewski, Małgorzata Kuciewicz, Jan Strumiłło oraz Jakub Szczęsny. W roku 2010 dołączył do zespołu Simone De Iacobis.
Centrala to warszawskie studio architektoniczno‑badawcze realizujące program reinterpretacji i interwencji dążących do odnowy języka architektury. Ich sposobem pracy są w takiej samej mierze kreowane na bazie własnych badań narracje zmieniające wyobrażenia o przestrzeni, jak i projekty budowlane oraz artystyczne. Zaangażowani są w edukację architektoniczną — prowadzą liczne spacery, wykłady i warsztaty. Projekt „Amplifikacja natury” kuratorki Anny Ptak i Centrali prezentowany był w Pawilonie Polskim na 16. Międzynarodowej Wystawie Architektury — La Biennale di Venezia 2018. Obecnie Centrala kontynuuje ten temat, tworząc projekty o architekturze‑w‑przyrodzie i przyrodzie‑w‑architekturze.
Rocznik 1988. Studiowała Historię Sztuki, Architekturę i Urbanistykę, a także odbyła staż w fundacji DOCOMOMO Ibérico w Barcelonie i ukończyła kurs w muzeum Wiktorii i Alberta w Londynie. Na portalu A&B opiekuje się cyklicznymi publikacjami z serii „10 pytań do…” i „Przerwa na kawę” oraz materiałami poświęconymi architekturze i wydarzeniom. W wolnych chwilach czyta kryminały, kaligrafuje, jeździ po świecie i cóż… ogląda seriale na Netflixie.
