Museums in the institutional sense are cultural institutions. In the architectural sense - edifices in which objects of artistic, scientific or historical value are collected and presented. In addition to the exhibition function, they also serve other functions: for example, educational or research. As Hans Belting, an art historian, confessed years ago, modern museums are not for exhibiting contemporary art, but for showing the world through the prism of art. For a long time, the postmodern Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao was considered the most spectacular realization of an exhibition institution. Nowadays, there are more and more museums around the world, and their style varies - often determined by the nature of the collection, the environment of neighboring buildings or the landscape. This part of the portal belongs to them. The National Museum of Qatar in Doha by Atelier Jeans Nouvel, museum in Tianjin, designed by Bernard Tschumi Architects, or a contemporary variation on the theme of grottoes at Lascaux, with Snøhetta behind it, are just some of them.

Galleries are divided into commercial and non-commercial. The former are spaces belonging to the art market, and therefore their main function boils down to selling works of art and antiques and handicrafts. The latter serve similar purposes to museums. Some are static and unchanging over time, while others, like animals shedding their moult, cyclically take on a new form, such as the annual Serpentine Pavilion in London.
Ingarden & Ewý – autorskie biuro projektowe założone w roku 1998 przez krakowskich architektów Krzysztofa Ingardena i Jacka Ewý współpracujących ze sobą od ponad 20 lat – wcześniej w ramach biura JET Atelier, założonego w 1991 roku.
Domeną biura Ingarden & Ewý są nowatorskie projekty obiektów użyteczności publicznej, wśród których wymienić można Centrum Kongresowe ICE Kraków Congress Centre (2014), Małopolski Ogród Sztuki (2012), Muzeum Sztuki i Techniki Japońskiej Manggha zrealizowane we współpracy z japońskim architektem Aratą Isozaki (1994), ambasadę Polski w Tokio (2001), pawilon Polski na wystawie EXPO 2005 Aichi (2005) oraz wiele krakowskich obiektów: pawilon wystawowo-informacyjny Wyspiański 2000 (2007), centrum biurowe Rondo Business Park (2008), Ogród Doświadczeń w Parku Lotników (2008), biblioteka Uniwersytetu Papieskiego (2010).
Poza obiektami użyteczności publicznej w pracowni Ingarden & Ewý powstało wiele nieszablonowych, docenionych przez środowisko architektoniczne, inwestorów oraz użytkowników projektów mieszkaniowych, biurowych, handlowych oraz przemysłowych.
Dobrawa Bies (ur. 1988) w A&B odpowiedzialna za Strefę uczelni, studenta i bibliotekę BIM. Ukończyła Edukację Artystyczną na krakowskiej ASP, kilka lat spędziła w Amsterdamie na rezydencji artystycznej. Oprócz pisania, tworzy sztukę wszelaką, audiodeskrypcje, jeździ na rowerze, słucha hard rocka i opery.
