What are the biggest challenges of the real estate market? 9th edition of Developer Days

07 of October '20

On October 15, Concordia Design Hub in Wroclaw will host the 9th edition of Developer's Days, a conference organized since 2010 by the Wroclaw branch of the Polish Association of Developer Companies. This year's event is planned in a hybrid formula - the program will include three debates, which will be held stationary, and four online reports on topics such as marketing and sales, Smart City, leadership and the technical and construction stream.

Update: the event has been rescheduled for early 2021.

Developer's Days has already been a decade of industry meetings, exchanges of experience and discussions on the most relevant current issues and directions of the development market in Poland. The current year has been logistically challenging, but - despite various pessimistic forecasts - it has not proved to be a brake on our industry's dynamic development. This does not mean, however, that the pandemic and its effects are the only challenges we have a need to talk about. Amendments to the so-called Developer's Act, the Developer Guarantee Fund, changes to the Technical Conditions that come into force at the end of this year - around these issues we have built the agenda of the Developer's Days conference "Housing: redefinition" - says Tomasz Stoga, president of the Wroclaw branch of the Polish Association of Developers.

The conference will begin with the panel "Housing: redefinition", whose guests will discuss, among other things, whether 2020 will be a turning point in urban development? What challenges has the pandemic posed to planners? How is post-coronavirus housing policy shaping up, and how to create economically resilient cities for the pandemic?

The panel "Development investment planning after 2020" will address issues of legal and legislative changes, polycentricity of the city or energy efficiency, and the closing discussion under the theme "What affects the cost of a square meter?" will address issues of the investment process, financing of development investments and factors shaping prices in the primary market.

Detailed information and the event program can be found on the event website.
