Conscious interior design is increasingly based on close cooperation between architects and industry-recognized manufacturers. This approach is being taught today not only to experienced architects, but also to students and those taking their first steps in the design profession. This idea is consistently developed by Kontakt-Simon, which once again became involved in the education of students of the Faculty of Interior Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow.

The lecture, held as part of the "Kontakt-Simon & Kontakt-Simon Ambassadors" series, was the company's third meeting with students of the Academy of Fine Arts. The main topic this time was the cooperation between a manufacturer of electrical fixtures and an interior designer as one of the important aspects of creating modern, functional spaces.
The program of the event was divided into two complementary blocks, combining the perspective of the manufacturer and the design practitioner. In the first part, Justyna Juniewicz-Fuczek of Kontakt-Simon presented not only the company's portfolio and product groups, but above all tools and cooperation models dedicated to interior designers. Special emphasis was placed on the role of design support and access to technical knowledge at the early stages of concept development.

The second block belonged to Karolina Szyszka, interior designer, Contact-Simon Ambassador and owner of the NONO Group studio. Her presentation brought a practical perspective to the meeting; from the realities of working with manufacturers to specific design experiences. Karolina Szyszka emphasized how important the availability of a competent technological partner is in everyday work, and how this translates into the quality and consistency of final realizations. There was also no shortage of reflections addressed to students on building their own professional path and a conscious approach to design.
Kontakt-Simon's presence in the academic space is not a one-off. It is part of the company's broader, consistently implemented strategy to support the education of future architects. By sharing knowledge and market experience, Kontakt-Simon actively participates in shaping the standards of contemporary interior architecture. The "Kontakt-Simon & Kontakt-Simon Ambassadors" lecture series demonstrates that the relationship between manufacturer and designer can go beyond the standard framework of cooperation, becoming a partnership based on understanding the needs of the end user.
