The Delta Foxx Plus membrane has been known for years as one of the most durable on the market. Now Dörken is unveiling an improved version of it that provides even greater resistance to the elements. The company has developed a breakthrough formula based on four layers, providing an effective barrier against UV radiation, water, wind and full airtightness. This allows the material to withstand even more. Exactly what changes has Dörken made to Delta Foxx Plus?

Year after year, rains and storms are becoming more violent, and the number of hot days is increasing. This makes it necessary for roof membranes to withstand ever greater challenges. To meet them even more effectively, Dörken, a leader in innovative roofing solutions, has improved the formulation of its most resistant membrane: Delta Foxx Plus. The company has developed an advanced four-layer structure in which each layer performs complementary functions. The material consists of highly tear-resistant special polyester and polypropylene nonwoven fabrics and double diffusion-open, waterproof layers. As a result, the material guarantees exceptional durability and reliability even under heavy mechanical loads and extreme weather phenomena.
No roofing membrane on the market combines safety, durability and functionality as effectively as Delta Foxx Plus. It's a material that has been valued by contractors and architects for decades, performing well in all conditions. That's why its latest update sets the highest standards for the entire industry, showing that even products considered top-of-the-line can reach even higher levels of quality and reliability, says Piotr Pytel, Dörken Delta technical advisor.
Four layers of membrane
The new version of Delta Foxx Plus consists of an acrylic coating, PET nonwoven, TPU film and PP nonwoven. In this advanced structure, tear-resistant polyester and polypropylene nonwovens effectively protect the material from damage. On the other hand, the double diffusion-open functional layers, consisting of a dispersion coating (top layer) and a PU film in the middle, ensure high tightness.
The membrane can withstand temperatures up to 150°C and can be exposed to sunlight for up to 30 weeks without losing its properties, which is particularly useful during construction site downtime. In addition, the material has a fire rating of B, confirming that it is non-combustible and enhances fire safety for residents. The membrane also has a lotus effect - raindrops run down the surface without sticking to it, facilitating water drainage. Delta Foxx Plus also features integrated adhesive strips on both edges, as well as a mesh that aids in precise cutting, making the use of the product significantly faster and easier on the roof.
Delta Foxx Plus is an all-inclusive package among membranes - it has everything the most resistant material needs. Its reliability has been confirmed in special tests conducted in conditions imitating extreme weather, including the use of a hurricane oven. The high quality of the product is also documented by ETA certification. As an expression of our full confidence in the durability of Delta Foxx Plus, we offer a 30-year warranty on it, currently the longest available on the market," says Piotr Pytel, Dörken Delta technical advisor.
