We are not slowing down! This year, we are also continuing our #NEW TRENDS IN ARCHITECTURE series, with a guest meeting hosted by Jakub Glaz, architecture critic and editor of the A&B portal, and Kazimierz Łatak and Piotr Lewicki, architects who form the Lewicki Łatak Biuro Projektowe.

The conversation straight from the recording studio in Krakow will be broadcast on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 1 p.m. The meeting will be seen live on A&B's YouTube channel and Facebook page. There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the conversation.

Kazimierz Łatak, Piotr Lewicki and Jakub Głaz

Kazimierz Łatak, Piotr LewickiKazimierz Łatak and Piotr Lewicki  winners of the Honorary Award of SARP (2018), multiple nominees for the European Mies van der Rohe Award, winners of the Vassilis Sgoutas Award from the International Union of Architects, awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Rebirth of Poland for their work on the restoration of Krakow's monuments. The duo has been working together since 1988.

The realizations of the studio Biuro Projektów Lewicki Łatak, founded in March 1995, are invariably appreciated both by the architectural community (as confirmed by the awards listed above, and these are just a few!) and users. They are the authors, among others, of the highly symbolic development of the Square of the Ghetto Heroes in Cracow, the acclaimed KS Cracovia hall, the pietistic reconstruction of the Czartoryski Museum in Cracow, or the award-winning pedestrian and bicycle bridge in Dobczyce. In recent months, their designs for the redevelopment of the iconic Cracovia Hotel on Krakow's Błonia and the sports and leisure centre with a student culture centre on Warsaw's campus Ochota have been recognised as the best in architectural competitions!

Jakub GłazJakub Głaz  architecture critic, publicist, animator of spatial activities, editor of the portal and regular columnist of the Architektura & Biznes monthly.
