Half of this year's Venice Architecture Biennale is already behind us, and you can still visit until November 23. We are bringing this multi-faceted Venetian debate on architecture to Warsaw! On September 16 at 18:00 in the Warsaw Architecture Pavilion ZODIAK we will meet with the creators of the exhibition in the Polish Pavilion: Aleksandra Kędziorek, Krzysztof Maniak, Katarzyna Przezwańska and Maciej Siuda, Michał Kubiak from Zachęta - National Gallery of Art and special guests: Bartłomiej Kisielewski, an architect from the Horizone Studio in Cracow, and Kacper Kępinski from NIAiU. The meeting will be moderated by Małgorzata Tomczak, editor-in-chief of A&B. You are welcome!

The official opening of the 19th Venice International Architecture Biennale, curated by Italian architect and engineer Carlo Ratti, took place on May 10. We are past the halfway point of this year's edition entitled "Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective" (Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective), which was to become a laboratory of ideas and experiments seeking solutions to contemporary challenges.

Around the Biennale

What lessons do we take away from this celebration of architecture? Which aspects were the spotlight directed at, and which were completely ignored? How does the Polish concept resound in this polyphony of ideas and strategies?

We transfer this important architectural (and not only) discussion to our local ground and invite you for the second time to a meeting with the creators of the exhibition "Lars and penatas. On building a sense of security in architecture" presented at the Polish Pavilion: Aleksandra Kędziorek, Krzysztof Maniak, Katarzyna Przezwańska and Maciej Siuda, as well as Michał Kubiak from Zachęta - National Gallery of Art, responsible for Polish exhibitions at the Biennale, who will tell us the behind-the-scenes of the competition for the exhibition representing our country. Special guests of the event will be: Bartlomiej Kisielewski, an architect from the Horizone Studio in Cracow, and Kacper Kepinski, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning, a member of the competition committee that decided that it was the "Lary and penatas" exhibition that would fill the Polish Pavilion. The meeting will be moderated by Malgorzata Tomczak, editor-in-chief of A&B.

The upcoming event will take place on Tuesday, September 16 at 6:00 pm in Warsaw, at the ZODIAK Pavilion (Stefan Wiechecki "Wiecha" Passage 4). Participation in the meeting is free of charge.
