21 of May '26

The second edition of the Next Design Summit, aimed at the design industry, will take placeat the Polish History Museum in Warsaw on May 29. However, this will not be an event focused on trends and fashions, but a very concrete conversation about money and respect for a designer's work.

Next Design Summit was created as a response to the changing reality of the design profession. The market, which for years focused mainly on aesthetics and inspiration, today increasingly needs a conversation about processes, pricing of work, client relations and organization of one's business. It is these areas - often overlooked in industry communication - that form the axis of the event's program

- write the organizers.

What will you be able to hear about in the spaces of the Polish History Museum? About what really affects the stability of a design studio, about commissions, pricing of work, as well as sales techniques and building a designer's brand.

This is a program about what really affects: the level of designer salaries, the quality of cooperation with clients and their decisions, scaling studios and expanding the portfolio of services, regaining control over the design process. Participants will learn how to build a strong team, develop leadership competencies and create a structure that realistically supports the growth of the company as the studio enters the next stage of development

- the organizers add.

Concrete and straightforward. As many as nine panels are scheduled in the program:

Wojciech Plona - will break down the hourly rate, tell where it comes from, how to calculate it and why most designers price themselves below cost.

Marcin P. Stopa - will talk about neuromarketing, how the customer's brain works at the moment of decision and how to use it ethically.

Dagmara Brzezinska - will talk about how to build a team that does not require your presence at every decision.

Katarzyna Kraszewska - will address the topic of supplier commissions.

Jo Jurga - will show how the brain reacts to space and what this means for your work with clients.

Henryk Kwapisz - an acoustics expert will talk about how to design acoustically comfortable buildings.

Pawel Pilarczyk - will reveal ways to practically apply AI in design visualization.

Paweł Tkaczyk - will address the question that hurts the most: why the interior design profession has lost its stature and how to rebuild it.
