What do studies really teach?

Martyna emphasizes that in addition to the formal subjects - from mechanics, building physics, construction, to architectural history - her studies gave her something more important. They were an opportunity to discover the direction in which she really wants to develop as an architect.

Internship as a watershed moment

The new study program includes a mandatory internship in the seventh semester. According to Martina, this is the culminating moment of the first degree - the time when theory meets practice. This is when students find out which skills are really useful and what they still need to learn.

the most important competencies in an architect's work

The experience of working in an office has shown Martina that the key competencies are:

  • teamwork and good organization,

  • the ability to convey information clearly so that all tradesmen can find their way around a project,

  • technical knowledge, because the details drawn become real solutions that someone later builds.

value of student internships

Martyna stresses that internships are a great value - provided you get to an office that really supports the development of the intern. Then they become not only an obligation in the study program, but, above all, a real foundation for a future career.
