Velux Top 100 Glass skylights — with functionality and architecture in mind
Top 100 Glass is a prefabricated roof module made of highly insulating glass embedded in a durable aluminum frame. Available in both fixed and vented versions, it is ideal for both flat and low-slope (0-15° pitch) roofs. The flush transition between the glass and the frame reduces dirt accumulation and emphasizes the modern character of the product.
Thanks to its modular design, the skylight can be easily adapted to a specific project. GRP or metal bases are available in various heights (15-60 cm), and full compatibility with automation and BMS systems facilitates integration into modern building infrastructure.

The Top 100 Glass flat glass skylight is a prefabricated solution ready for on-site installation. The product consists of a glass top connected to a PVC ventilation frame, which provides a connecting element to the most common types of flashings known in the dome window range.

Top 100 Glass module construction with metal base
- Aluminum frame (height depends on glazing variant) — Pre-assembled corner joint, aluminum profile powder-coated in black, RAL 9005.
- Glazingpackage (IGU) — Available in double and triple versions, with LowE coating as standard or with additional solar protection.
- Screen printing on the edge of the glass — Screen printing on the edge acts as an aesthetic finish and UV protection for the structure underneath.
- Double gasket — The double gasket of the PVC ventilation frame hose improves insulation and sealing properties.
- Insulated metal base (type "Iso Therm") — Steel base without thermal bridges with 60 mm thick mineral wool insulation. Available in heights: 30, 40, 50 and 60 cm.
- Aluminum profile — If necessary, a clamping rail provides mechanical attachment of the roof membrane to the slope of the base.

- Glazingpackage (IGU) — Available in double and triple versions, with LowE coating as standard or with additional solar protection.

- Double gasket — The double gasket of the PVC ventilation frame hose improves insulation and sealing properties.
- Insulated GRP base (type "AKi") — A base without thermal bridges, made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) with 60 mm thick thermal insulation. Available in heights: 15, 30 and 50 cm.

Top 100 Glass skylight can be designed with double or triple glazing with the following properties:
- Insulating glazing (Ug values up to 0.5 W/m²K).
- Outer tempered glass.
- Interior laminated safety glass.
- Warm spacer (protects insulating properties for a long time and minimizes the risk of condensation on the edges of the glass).
- Sun protection coating (optional)
- The glass is glued to the aluminum frame with UV-resistant silicone.
- The glass has a 115 mm wide black silk print along the edge of the skylight to prevent thermal cracking.
