In the Prague Zone, the former Pollena factory will be transformed into Bohemia

25 of March '22

Construction of the next stages of Bohemia - Prague Zone will start soon. The project is being built on the site of the former Pollena-Uroda factory. Some of the historic buildings have already undergone a metamorphosis.

Okam, the construction investor, signed an agreement with the general contractor for the next stages of the quarter on March 22. Unibep Polska will build brand-new buildings - four residential and one office, and will also adapt the historic Factory Management building. At the same time, FineTech Construction will continue the redevelopment of five historic buildings, which began in 2021.

The Factory Management Building will be used to the greatest extent for office space - it will be added one story and expanded with two side wings. The glass-covered facade will clearly stand out from the historic part of the façade. The entire project will include a residential and office development quarter with a large commercial section and a plaza. The entire project is supervised by Group 5 Architects. SUD Architekci and KALLAN were also involved in designing the various parts of the complex.

A pedestrian walkway designed between the buildings will lead to the main square located by the Chimney, around which restaurants and service points, a local center of social life, are to be spread. A leisure and recreation area is also planned for the courtyard. Work on the new buildings in phases D and E is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of this year, and to be completed in the third quarter of 2024.

Some 600 apartments under construction within Bohemia have already been placed in the hands of future residents within the project's earlier stages A and C. As part of stage A, 303 apartments were delivered in 2021. Phase C, on the other hand, comprises nearly 280 residential units, which will go to buyers in the second half of this year.
